Millett Group has opened a hostel on Australia’s most iconic beach: Bondi. After acquiring Bondi Backpackers late last year, the business has undergone a transformation and rebrand, reopening this week. Bondi Backpackers sits across four stories on Bondi’s Campbell Parade, with panoramic views of Bondi Beach and the bustling promenade below.
The new hostel will offer guests the very best that the coastal lifestyle has to offer, from rooftop yoga to personal training sessions on the beach, all at no cost to guests. Christian Millett of Millett Group says: “We wanted to do more than just upgrade the facilities. We saw an opportunity to bring something unique to Bondi that backpackers haven’t really seen before. “Bondi is known for its active, healthy lifestyle so incorporating this into our activity schedule was a no-brainer. We want to give our guests a taste of what the Bondi lifestyle is all about.”
Bondi has transformed in recent years; the addition of the QT Hotel and Adina development have brought brand new accommodation and prestige to the beachside suburb. Boasting charming boutique shops as well as big name brands, and internationally renowned chefs alongside small cafes, Bondi has become much more than just a summer destination. Bondi Backpackers will now add a quality accommodation option for the youth market.
