EuroHostel Liverpool was opened with great fanfare as Hoax Liverpool in 2013, has recently undergone a massive refurbishment by it’s new operating parent company Euro Hostels.
Located in the Wade Smith building, this former clothing store in Liverpool’s infamous Cavern Quarter, Euro Hostels has taken the opportunity to take the hostel and turn it into something boutique. Sometimes referred to as “flashpackers” or “glampackers”, this overhaul includes large screen LCD TV’s, GHD’s and USB ports in newly created VIP rooms.
Euro Hostels is seeing the trend of many other hostels around the world and closing that gap between a hostel and a boutique budget hotel, and often aimed at the youth and millennial travel market.
With GuestCentrix PMS for Hostels installed since the property opened, it’s great to see such a fantastic operator continue to invest and rebrand this hostel. We look forward in heading up to Liverpool and staying at the property, have a beer and a bite to eat and catch up with Emma Wright, General Manager, and hear about how successful the refurb has made to the business.
