As a reminder to all the GuestCentrix users with on-site installs of our software solution, Microsoft announced some while ago that Microsoft Windows Server 2003 End Of Life is dated the 14th July 2015.
Microsoft End of Life Server 2003 Notification
What does this mean? Microsoft will no longer be issuing security or software updates to this server version. If you are running an instance of Server 2003, we recommend speaking with your IT Support Company, or IT Manager to arrange to upgrade this software to newer, faster and more efficient versions of Windows Server.
The GuestCentrix software solution will also no longer be tested on these versions after this date, and future upgrades of the software may not be available to those properties who choose not to upgrade.
This is also an opportunity for properties to consider migrating their GuestCentrix software to the GuestCentrix Cloud instead – let us cloud host your software. This will remove the need to maintain expensive hardware onsite at your property.
