Discovery Group Melbourne Chooses GuestCentrix Hostel Software for their future growth

Discovery Melbourne has selected the cloud based GuestCentrix Hostel.Web as their hostel management solution.
The 670 bed hostel in Melbourne Victoria is amongst the largest hostels in the southern hemisphere. The property is undergoing a massive transformation and refurbishment which will place it as one of the standout hostels in Australia.
The property is replacing a software solution which was designed for small hotels, with GuestCentrix Hostel.Web, a cloud based property management system. Designed around the specific needs of a hostel and backpacker operation where the business sells beds, dorms and hotel rooms to its guests, GuestCentrix Hostel.Web offers a fantastic solution to hostels of any size and scale.
Selecting not only the cloud based hostel management system with a connection to a SiteMinder Channel Manager, but also the GuestCentrix Point of Sales solution with Inventory Control, and the GuestCentrix Conference & Banqueting Package, the entire software solution will be hosted via the GuestCentrix Cloud which will reduce local IT infrastructure costs for Discovery Melbourne.
Duncan Waterman, Sales Manager Australia / New Zealand for CMS Hospitality and the GuestCentrix software solution comments:
“We have been speaking with Grant and his team from Discovery for a number of months, and are delighted that we have been selected as a key business partner for the business as they progress on the redevelopment of the hostel. Our new cloud based hostel management system has been receiving wide praise from properties due to the easy to use system, with powerful yield and management control tools. We wish Grant and his team all the very best with the refurb, and look forward to working closely with the team from Discovery for a great many years to come. Two Australian business icons coming together to work together”
Grant Richardson General Manager Discovery Group Australia has said:
“We took a long hard look at GuestCentrix and the solution they could provide. Having a cloud based system is going to be great for us – and the fact the software is designed to let us configure the system and sell our beds and dorms online and at the same time we are able to sell our hotel rooms will make our lives easier.  We know GuestCentrix has been supplying some of the most successful hostels and hotels in Australia and elsewhere for many years and can’t wait to get the project underway”
